Start with one outcome

Choose one recurring handoff. Name who supplies the input and who needs the result.

Make decisions explicit

Document the fields each rule uses. Provide a manual path when inputs are incomplete.

Choose the approval point

Put review before the consequential action. Show the reviewer the original input and proposed result together.

Test the exception

A useful test includes an empty field, a repeated event and a rejected approval, not only the happy path.
